First of all, "Thank You!" for your comments on my related blog post. Just so you know, the comments in my post about my wanting to back "a candidate whose qualifications go beyond that 'he has paid his party dues and is next-in-line' or who fits in with longstanding party bylaws – e.g., 'proving herself through campaign fund raising on her own'" are real-life experiences from my involvement with my local Republican Party. Unfortunately, its not just the Newts who need to wake up. I say, "If you approach this as you always have in the past, you can expect the same results."

BTW, most of my blog posts are "way to long" but I think you did outdo me.
