Great link and story.
What Andrew infers but does not expound upon is the fact that all this hullaballu was created just to line the pockets of a few. As long as they perpetuate the myth and no one points out the lack of clothing to the king they are successful.
Thanks for sharing this link with us.

I didn't realize it "was created just to line the pockets of a few". I guess I was jusst naive enough to think they really believed what they were saying!!
Thanks for coming in.

Take a good look at the mechanism of "Carbon Trading". If that is not an enormous ponzi scheme I don't know what is. It does nothing to reduce emissions, it just allows industry to pay people off to continue. Sleight of hand with a warm and fuzzy feeling that enviro's and liberals can grasp.
Al Goracle has already created a carbon trading brokerage company, fact. He will reap enormous personal wealth should carbon trading become law. His little snake oil road show is just a set up for his trading scheme.

Hey, emjayne! Luv how you are now getting into the "groove" of the hard economic times/new hope and change admin and are now mugging links from other bloggers! ROFLMAO! What is beyond my comprehension, is how can they still scream about gorebull warming when there are blizzards across the country and snow in Las Vegas?

I knew all that but I still thought Gore was going by scientists he talked to and thought they were right. THEN he started touting the glob. warm. deal. THEN he realized he could make money from it.
Am I wrong about the sequence? You think he started from the beginning with the idea of making money>?

Yeah, we've all been laughing about the weather this week. ;-)) Esp. here in FL where it is now 79 so we know there must be global warming. Unfortunately, we are going down to the 60's tomorrow!
And as for "stealing" I consider anything put up is fair play to grab! Esp. if it's something I feel strongly about!
And this Glob Warm. baloney infuriates me, esp with PEBO liking it! and putting people in the Cabinet who will use it.

I have no documented facts to prove the Goracle pre-planned his ponzi scheme. It just seems to fit in all too well with all of the other Transnational Progressive BS he spews to the unwashed masses.

at all..........at least here on earth as Al Gore claims. But I do think he will experience it BIG TIME in the life hereafter. I think he's gonna be in for a hot time in H--- for a long long time.
I'm not at all sure he believes in GW in the least; just the money he expects it to net him and doesn't give a dang how much it costs the rest of us.

I think my favorite part was the
Clinton quote in item number four.
"It is now generally recognised that while Al Gore and I were ridiculed, we were right about global warming..."
This is technically somewhat true, as they seem to have applied the Guidobat method of statistical analysis in determining it. This method works something like the following:
1. Gather a random or near-random selection of 100 people in a room.
2. Pick out the biggest and/or strongest one. This is your Guido.*
3. Hand the Guido a baseball bat.
4. Line the others up in a set of nine rows of eleven people each.
5. Make some statement. Example: "I am the most handsome/beautiful person in the room."
6. Walk along each row, asking people whether they agree with you or not.
7. If the answer is 'yes', hand them a twenty-dollar bill. If the answer is 'no', have the Guido kneecap them with the bat.
By about the middle of row three, you've guaranteed that everyone who's left is going to say 'yes'. If not for the money, then to avoid the consequences of disagreeing. Doesn't matter what they're really thinking; you've ensured they won't dare disagree.
*Guido: 'Enforcer', or similar. Name chosen because it always seems to belong to a low level thug in stories featuring some variation of the Mafia.

I keep hearing the world is warming,

This past summer was the coldest around here since the 70s when we were warned about the coming ice age.
I guess when the glaciers start encroaching on hollyweird, maybe then the lefties will finally realize they've been Bulled by a Gore.

We've already had 3 snowfalls this year, we rarely get any snow in December, with more expected tonight! Crested Butte, CO where we normally ski had a record 418 inches for 2007-08 season and they've already had over 100 inches this season with snow predicted every day this week. They get their most snowfall in late December and January, but last year it kept up into February. I have a friend in Madison, WI who told me they had a record of over 100 inches, they've had six snows in the last week! We had over 40 inches of snow on the farm last year and the avg is 15, our rainfall was well above 30 inches for the year and the normal is only 14.5. We've already had several nights of single digit temps, which we normally don't see until January. I tell you this Glo-bull warming is a gag! Thank you for the link.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!! :)
