So Obama is going to create his OWN media arm, even the Enemedia isn't controllable enough. This guy is frightening. If we get hit in the next 6 months, all bets are off. Cheney is setting the stage by forcing his way into our culture's awareness.
Good piece Jesse.

I think that's Obama's way of warning the mainstream media that he really doesn't need them to get his message out. What people other than dictators need their own media? Nobody. Cheney is not only taking the conversation to America, but he is taking on Obama personally on issues. That is something that must continue. Cheney might have nothing to lose, but that's the way every politician must look at it as well. Show some nads and take this Alinskyite on face to face.

Ya just GOT to hate triple posts! It was worth reading three times. Having been around the auto industry all my adult life, from working on them,to hauling them to dealers,to working with the engineers, and marketing staffs, all I have to say to Obama is "Good Luck running a car company with NO ONE there who actually has a CLUE about doing it".They shaft the taxpayer for around $50 billion at this point, with NO end in sight to the bailouts, when the absolute BIGGEST hurdle to their financial health could have been solved with simply allowing them to file.GM WILL be filing within the next week to 10 days, their bondholders saw how badly the Chrysler debt-holders were treated, and there is MUCH more money at stake here, these people are simply willing to risk losing it all instead of being not only shafted, but demonized at the same time. I think when all is said, and done, there will be a lot more people turning to the foreign makes who are assembling vehicles here as a protest towards the government. Time will tell.

Great blog. I'm going to have to invest in this book, as much as it would pain me to do so. But research is research and it may serve me well in the future.
The bank nationalization terrifies me. As an employee in the corporate office of the 5th largest bank in the US, I certainly do NOT want to be under Obama's thumb.
Thank God I'm going back to school in the fall to get out of banking and another field!
Looking forward to what you have to say next!

Thanks. Yeah, we get to have people like Obama, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd running two of the major auto companies. There's no question now that GM will file for bankruptcy. Not only will American people be turned off at the prospect of buying cars that the government will make the automakers produce, but who wants to go through all of that government red tape when making good on warranties? Can you imagine? If you think there was red tape on warranties before...OOOOH Mary! is this country in for a surprise. You are right about the buying into foreign cars, but not sure if it will be by protest. Who wants the government making good on any guarantee when this government is breaking contractual law time and time again? Not me, and I was looking into a Challenger too. Damn nice looking car.

It's an amazing book. When you read even just the first twenty pages or so, you're going to think to yourself "why didn't I read this book before the election?" even if you had no intention of voting for Obama. It's pretty eerie, but you'll see there is no doubt that Obama is following the Alinsky playbook word for word. You will also see that the populace must be a special kind of ignorant in order for it to work. We are in that time.
