Compassionate Execution

Forget it!!

I throw compassion out the window when it comes to murderers in the highest regard. I know people are sometimes forced in self-defense to kill. Say for example, the home invasion(a halt! who goes there moment), or the rapist who thinks he can get away and doesn't). But to feel sorry for those who pre-meditate and those killing because they can, for no other good reason, then let them hang. No waiting, no tax-payer expense, nothing. Finished.

Hi, Andrew

Nee referred me here, evidently after reading this essay of yours.

You and I have had discussions on the main columns, to refresh your memory.

Interesting essay; I agree with much of what you wrote. There's also the further point that "LWOP" convicts can always have their convictions or sentences reversed by a later reviewing court, or political trend ( as you mentioned).

My current essay's also on the death penalty. If you're interested in reading it, just click my name.

I personally have very little compassion for murderers of any variety. My only concern was that those who kill out of rage get off easier than those who premeditate murder. It seems to me, and always has, that those so little in control of themselves that they can kill on a whim are an even greater danger to mankind.

Not that the premeditated killers are any better. I just think those who kill from passion should be treated just as harshly.

I actually read y6our post prior to writing this, so if I inadvertently lifted anything, I must apologize in advance. I thought I was original, but I know sometimes I borrow some words without knowing it.

And I do recall conversing with you before. It has always been interesting.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and to reply. Now I wish I had posted a comment on your blog. (It is a weak excuse, but work intervened and kept me from writing a reply.)

I hope you come back and read my future posts, or maybe check out some of my past writing. I will be sure to check out more of your blog as well.
