Jesse, I have read this post

and those referenced at the bottom of this one. These are posts that I have to read more than once to comment on. I applaud you for your painstaking research and hard work on this very worthwhile subject. Thank you for taking the time to do this when you are so sick. Keep us posted on what you find out this week. Prayers and best wishes go out to you, my friend.
Take care and God Bless & keep you.

Jessie

Heard about the kidney problems. Blessings on you , your docs and the process to which they use to get you well. You seem 'called' to me friend. Stop by when you get well for my newest and rant.

Jessie, You Are In My Prayers

I do not judge, because that is God's job not mine. I do not try to understand everything, because again that is God's job not mine.

All I know how to do is to use the New Testament and the Old Testament as an "instruction manual". Whatever God says to do in the New Testament (and that the Apostles and other writers wrote down, using Jesus's actual actions and words in some cases), that is what my family and I try to do. The Old Testament we use to see what God's Chosen people did before Christ and again what not to do.

I know that this is probably a very simplistic or "low intelligence" approach; but it is all I know how to do. Every man and/or woman must find his own approach. I have preached the Gospel from the pulpit, lead singing, and taught Bible classes. But all in all, I am a simple man.

But know this, you are in my prayers, you and your family. God Bless You and Your Search.

Bobbie

My "Election of Grace" blogs are for the advanced Christian student. I have done painstaking research and did so without any influence of men. With my Strong's I can bypass every interpretation done by men. That's how we should all read. People going to church is great, but read on your own. Be willing to ask questions. If someone reads while erasing anything men has interpreted God's word to say, they will then really learn what God has to say. Those are God's words. Let Him explain Himself to you. I know I'm going to be alright. It's just been difficult here lately. Thanks for the prayers. Will return those prayers. Thanks, Bobbie. May God bless you many times in return.

Thanks for the blessings. God more than called me right around the time I turned 25. He made me read. Then He forced me about two years later to take my reading and studying to a new level, which I did. In the time since then, I have used patience when reflecting. I now know all I need to know because of God's prodding upon me. Most I cannot get to on here. For now, I know God has put it upon me to take on errors in His word. Some things I'm not allowed to correct, or when correcting them He makes sure I don't go too far. When the seventh trump is blown, then He'll reveal upon all His true word.

GG

Thanks for the prayers.

There are lessons in the OT to take in, but there is still much unfulfilled prophecy written in the OT. Much of Revelation is written in more detail somewhere in the OT in the books of the prophets such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and so forth.

I do not do anything on these religious posts unless God pushes me to. Remember also, Jesus spoke against five of the seven churches in Rev. 2-3. One church he even threatens to remove entirely from being a Christian church. There's no going back for them now. It's too late in the game.

We should all do what we're being either pushed to do or feel we should do. It's no different in my case. With me, God pushes me less than He used to. I've learned what I needed to learn. Now He just wants me to now and then to correct misperceptions. Our churches and its people have to get better. The Storm is coming. Can't be afraid of stepping on some toes when that is lingering.

You'll be in my prayers too. Thanks GG.

Jesse

I'll remember you in my prayers.

Thanks for your essay.

Jesse --- You're in Our Prayers

Hello, buddy. I'm grateful that Bobbie has alerted us to your health problems. This concerns us a great deal, but when we pray that you will be fully in the care of the Lord, our hearts are eased. And may yours be too. I know that He will bless you. I read your post on God's elect. It's an impressive scholarly work. While I study the scriptures, and find much comfort in the word of God, my faith is simple. I confess Christ as my Lord and Savior, I accept His precious death and resurrection as atonement for my sins, and I praise Him for His love and guidance. I have had very real intervention in my life when I have called on Him. Jesse, you're one of our Townhall favorites, and one we admire. We are all pulling for you. Verne.

Beautiful Blog

Hey, Mind! You have always had a special way with words! This thread, each little post speaking volumes, says what I say to you also. You have so many friends here on the blog. We are all sincere in sending you our prayers and wishes of an excellent outcome. Peace be with you, Jesse. xxoo

Thanks. I appreciate the prayers. I had a pretty decent day, so I hope it continues. Maybe I'm passed this latest spell.

Verne

Thanks for the prayers, the gracious words, and the compliments. I worked very hard on reading, always with God's pushing of me. I will continue to do what He wants me to do.
