Farewell, President Bush

Oh so right
It is not the presidents job to secure a prosperous economy. The fact that Americans expect him to, and either credit him with a good economy or blame him with a bad one says a lot about the lack of understanding in people. A president can create some stimulus, motivate certain incentives such as tax cuts etc., but it takes a massive amount of economic surge and growth to revive the economy when there is a bad recession. Surges and inputs that are way beyond the presidents power. What a contemporary president can do, and what this one will do if he's smart, is aggressively go after energy reserves within the borders of the U.S. Find them and market this resource as quickly as possible. The worlds need for energy is what will be a penicillin and cure to America's ailing economy. Tax cuts, wise spending practices, and infrastructure repair will also bring health and growth.
But America more than anything needs a penicillin for its egregious immorality and increasing secularism, and that is found in the Word of God.
Yes President Bush did very well. We don't really care what the haters say. They pretty much show their true colors of ignorance and hypocrisy. We'll stand firm and let them fall into their own nets. And pray for them. Matthew 5:44-45
