Romney reacts to being caught in a lie
You have to go see the video! Romney loses it when called on his lying by a great reporter. Kevin Tracy has said it well below:

A few months ago, I wrote about one eerie similarity between Mitt Romney and his father, George Romney: both men were willing to say ANYTHING to get elected, even if it means feeding outright lies to the voters. It was that trait that backfired on George Romney when he ran for President and I’m shocked it hasn’t backfired on Mitt Romney yet either.
This man has absolutely no standards and that should frighten the hell out of every Republican...

listen, government mandated healthcare of any kind is a bad deal. It's an on-the-surface easy fix to an ugly uninsured health crisis problem, in this one world order, perfect utopian society that Romney and others are pushing for. If you have ever been on the receiving end of medicaid, you kind of get a whiff of this. The indignity that some people have to go through, the robotic like nature of the caregivers who are having to accept medicaid/medicare payments, rather than big fat insurance company checks. The substandard service level. At least in other countries, after you have to sit in the waiting room for hours to see a doctor, in Asian countries, you take your own blood pressure in a machine, write it on a card, and give it to the doctor when you go in. All while sitting with about 200 other people waiting to get in to see 1 doctor. (My dad's experiences) It's again a very robotic, unhuman, standardized level of health care. You think it's bad now? Wait til you see what they will do with this. It will be the stuff Ray Bradbury would write of.

Nice made up facts
It really calls into question the whole point of the article when the first statement is exactly the opposite of reality. In fact, Mitt has repeatedly stated he does not want to take the MA plan national - just tear down the Federal regs that made the MA plan a headache to pass in the first place. The Feds put so many strings on the money that free-market oriented solutions by the states are very tough to enact.

That is not true...
On 1/15/2007:
Romney's MI victory speech about why his supporters with with him: "You said that we would fight to get healthcare for all Americans!"
Later, in Reno, Romney said he envisioned expanding the universal health care plan he implemented in Massachusetts to the entire nation. He has been careful with making such statements, since the Massachusetts plan includes a requirement for individuals to buy coverage -- a mandate opposed by many conservatives and one Romney left out of the national health care principles he outlined last year.
Romney on Leno 1/18/2207:
"It's really modeled after what we did in Massachusetts," Romney said of the national concept. "I know we can do it for the nation because we've done it in Massachusetts."
pngrata, what are you talking about? I think you are dinking the liberal Mass. Romney kool-aid.
