All the Republicans need to control the Foley thing, is to keep their heads and keep their facts straight, and be careful not to play to the mob.

The mob can't tell the difference between sodomy with a 15 year old and internet sex with a 17 year-old. The mob hungers to hear lewd IMs described as a a perversion of the sickest kind, a crime against humanity, an act of such base depravity that the perpetrator should not be considered human. The mob wants to hang him, his family, his family's friends, and his gdam dog, gdamit.

"Get mad!" is good for the mob, but the mob is not good for Republicans.
