How in the world would a POTUS McCain -- working with a veto-proof Democrat senate -- change the balance of SCOTUS?

Would he leave the White House to join another Gang of 14? He can nominate all of the strict-constructionist conservatives he wants, but the POTUS needs the senate to confirm.

In my almost-always-humble opinion, we'll get liberal justices during the next few years regardless of who is elected POTUS.
