News Flash!! the vast majority of "poor minorities" don't want to work. Work is outside their comfort zone. they're more comfortable watching TV until their gov't handout arrives in their mailbox. Taking care of the "poor" is what got us into this financial boondoggle in the first place. Can't expect the dims to "get it" tho. Facts trigger severe allergies with these "leaders" of our country. They break out in Bush hatred rhetoric, their eyes glaze over, and the hysteria of denial cuts of all worthwhile communication. These bricks for brains DC creeps need to be charged, tried and convicted of treason and either hung or shipped to Europe never allowed to return.

I’m sorry, but I missed your question about my military status. I retired in 2005 from the USAF. I also have prior enlisted time with the Marines.

The Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), which covers all active duty personnel, strictly prohibits members from making disparaging remarks about any elected government official.

Fortunately retirees are not bound by the UCMJ. So I can voice what most of my active duty friends and colleagues think but cannot say; Obama sucks!

Well, the voters wanted change, and they're going to get it. Great post that sums things up nicely. We're about to embark on a little sleigh ride to Hell, I only hope the country, as we are still able to know it, will survive until the sun will once again shine down.

To the liberal elite and their followers, America’s strength was built through exploiting minorities. The evil white man’s boot always on the neck of anyone of color.

While there’s a grain of truth to that overstatement, the left purposely ignores the cultural mindset of yesterday with today, and by doing so perpetuates victimhood. Which is just fine with those who make a living off exploiting the race game. Like getting elected president.

I for one am tired of giving so much of my paycheck to the government.

In Italy during the 70's and early 80's, my dad was running a company over there connected to TRW. He had some health problems and being a top executive they always got him to the best hospitals and to the front of the lines.

And in there lies my hope.

I saw part of a "documentary" the other night by the inimitable Michael Moore on the health system in Canada and GB ...maybe more but I forget. He never had one complainer!! Every single person he had on raved about the health care. Even if I didn't think he was a liar from the word go, I would doubt this show. There is no way everyone could be deliriously happy with a govt system!!
But he didn't even TRY to get another pt of view.

GEORGETWIN! I just read about the accents! Had to roar. It's amazing that so many people who hate the US system come here from some other place.

If the reprieve doesn't come before 2016 I may not be here to see it!!
But to be honest I don't believe I will be here to see us get over what is being done to the country. Those growing up will accept the status quo and not know any other way and the liberal teachers and professors will make sure they never learn. I never thought I would see the day the country started its downhill slide. I wish I hadn't.

All of the sensible, intelligent economists are being ignored in the effort to transform this country into a socialist nation. The fact that socialism has failed time after time is ignored.
I wish I could see some "light at the end of a tunnel" but it's a long way off.
