have anything to do with her arrogance, most likely narcissism and pathological lying? Think maybe she's lied herself into a fully delusional state? Actually believing in her percieved infallibility? Who knows? She is an enigma on many fronts. And totally disgusting to boot.

It is possible. I doubt she was always delusional, as you don't usually make it to a leadership position if you aren't rather clever. And politics inside the party is pretty nasty, so I imagine she must have been lucid at some point. But I suppose it is possible she has gone from lucid to delusional during her tenure. Or perhaps she is lucid except for her beliefs about voter behavior.

As I said, it is hard to understand.
