You Ain't Gonna Like Losing

I don't recall the story of how Roosevelt and his administration lied to Americans to get us to combat Nazism.
The 9/11 attacks were by al-Qaeda. That's why we went to Afghanistan. Afghanistan and Iraq are different places. Bush and his administration told us they both had a role in the attacks. That was a lie.

I think that when our leaders do bad things we don't have to stand behind them. By not standing behind people who lie, we do not taint ourselves with their crimes.

Not all Muslims are hostile to America. Not all Muslims who are hostile to America are in Iraq.

If it's a battle between Muslim ideology and Christian ideology, maybe Christians should go back to something Jesus said: "Love your enemies."

A large component of Nazism was a big, strong, machine-like military. Another big component was the Nazi belief in following their leaders not out of reason but out of patriotism. There are people in the US who want us to have a big, strong, machine-like military. They want us to follow our leaders not out of reason but out of patriotism. Which people do you think these are? Do you think more of them are Republicans or Democrats?

Bush never lied! show me one lie about the wmd and I'll show you a liberal that said the same thing. Or more to your point that supposedly Bush said Iraq was responsible for 9/11. He never said it. He said we cannot take a chance that with Saddam's history of non-compliance with UN resolutions about wmd and his already proven use of them against his own people that we must pre-empt him and take him out before it lands on our shore. That was the lesson of 9/11. And you know what, the fishbowl approach we have taken has WORKED! We have not been attacked since then. The fact that you say Bush lied is in fact a lie by yourself.
