piece of work. Also offers encouragement if we'll exercise the teamwork, discipline and perserverance that those brave folks did. First a part of the country has to overcome apathy, another part has to overcome ignorance and yet another part has to overcome their "gimmee" attitude. That leaves a lot for us common sense conservatives to do, but we can do it if we just will. Hopefully, we'll get with it soon..you have pointed out excellent role models for us to follow.

He did write a good story. My favorites are "The Ferguson Rifle" and "The Haunted Mesa".

"The Ferguson Rifle": Two reasons why I like this book; first I own a replica Ferguson Rifle (Think about it a breech-loading flintlock! The rifle shoots good too.); second, I love the premise of the book, a man going west to leave his past behind.

"The Haunted Mesa": A modern western/sci-fi book! I really like the story line in it too.

And within that new mindset, multi-cultural individualism has become synonymous with individual liberty. Thus the core beliefs that once served as a unifier, now by definition divide us.

We conservatives will never give up our voice, especially in these days. What has gone on with this country that everybody thinks that they're entitled to something when they haven't done anything? My parents taught hard work and perseverance will achieve great things, but it seems American's these days would rather have the government just hand out freebies. So far. Its interesting to think that many of Washington's supply problems were caused by Congress. Think how differently that war could have been fought. Lone British patrols assassinated, public buildings blown up by suicide bombers the British supply system attacked. The guerilla war against the loyalists was effective and probably did more than the 'regular' combat operations to convince the Brits that they could never win. That was a tough, brutal war and Washington come within a hair's breadth of defeat. We have to look to that level of bravery now that we're faced with a megastate with almost unlimited resources and very many fewer scruples and humanity than the Brits had two centuries ago.

I have some hope that the Tea Party movement will start some momentum in the direction of constitutional government. This fight is only just beginning.
