Liberal/Socialists Pt 3

So far this series has been a big help to me in defining just what socialibism really is all about.A relative few who want to keep theirs,and dole out to you what they think you need a.k.a shared prosperity(boy I hate that phrase).The FDR/LBJ entitlements probably were a good idea in their time in that it would help those in real need but as we now know,has been perverted into the bloated system we have today.Good job.....

FDR also wanted SS privatized at a future date but you never hear teh libs refer to that.

While I was in San Diego, I got to know quite a few of these "street kids." I used to make a point of giving whatever I couldas I passed homeless on the streets, but these street kids sucked the generosity right out of me. There are literally hndreds of them lined up in downtown areas, and then many more just wandering around in different areas in SD. Each of them is out on the street begging. They'll follow you into restaurants and beg for your food scraps. This wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that many of these people are able-bodied, and during the times that they aren't begging for handouts, they are messing around. None of them seem to have any kind of desire to MAKE their situation better, they all expect someone to come along and do it for them. Since I met these street kids, I realized that if I spent all my time trying to help these styreet kids, I would be in the very same situation that they are.
My second experience involved a guy who said he was a street kid. Once again, my generous side won out and I let him sleep on my couch for awhile, just so he could get a leg up. As it turned out, he claimed he just needed a little help to get himself started but he really wasn't all that interested in actually helping himself. Although there were jobs available to him, he seemed to think that he was too good for a lower paying job, so instead he sat on my couch all day and played video games while helping himself to food that I bought to support my wife and daughter.
Like most Libs, these street kids weren't interested in actually helping themselves, they chose instead to live on handouts and of course comlain that "life was just too hard."

Great series,Gunny. How on Earth anyone can think that socialism is "THE WAY" is seriously deluded. Those who think that Hitlary!(tm) and her merry band of elites have anything for them had best wake up from their whatever induced stupor. With Hitlary!(tm) being in Soreazs' pockets,makes me think,What's in it for him? The joy he would get in the tearing down of this nation? The $$$$ to be made off currency speculation? Hmmm......

With the material in front of you,no I can't imagine it would be,but you are to be applauded for doing so. I know I am learning MANY more things about these DANGEROUS,so-called "citizens" that inspires me to work towards rendering them to the ash-heap of political history,through your writings. Sorry to have to let you in on this, but it seems like the appropriate time... The bad news is that liberals are not only to be counted in as spoiled brats living off welfare, mommy and daddy and/or the overflowing surplus. No, my friends, the sad and disgusting reality sickens me as I reach forth to type these ugly words: liberals are quite commonly found as regular working class common folk who go about their days reading papers, watching television, raising families or (here in New Yawk common sex couplings) mental midgets (I don't mean to downgrade the working class but just to point out the mentality of these narrow-minded, nasty nut-cases)...all I'm saying is socialism is spreading like wildfire and more Gunnys are desperately needed to right the basket before it becomes the basketcase...

You are correct of course. It's the same as the Christian right saying that Liberals are all atheist. Unfortunately, that is not true, there are plenty of Christian Liberals who seem to believe that Socialism is a teaching of Christ.
