If this were true, why did it take so long to come to light? You are right; this does stink. I no more believe Obama is a natural born USA citizen than I believe I'm an astronot. The whole thing seems fishier now than ever. Why is this coming out now?Something is rotten in Denmark.
And in DC too. I think it's the guy in the WhiteHouse.

The big question is why has prezbo spent over $1M to fight this? Why doesn`t he show his university transcripts, medical records, etc., et al, ad nauseum? Hard to believe Hawaii would destroy original legal documents. Used to know the name of the hall in London, where you can go and look at civil records all the way back to the 1500s. Great post, Garnet. Will we ever get an answer?

Where’s the birth certificate?
The fact that one must summon courage just to mention the inquiry speaks for itself.
One of the fundamental principles of good leadership is to do so by example. If you can’t, then you’ve failed before even beginning.
It is a simple question with an equally simple solution.

There is no need for Obama to provide a birth certificate as his own words prove he is ineligible.
1) He admits his father, Obama Sr., was a citizen of Kenya which makes him, Obama Sr., a British subject.
2) The definition of natural born, according to John Bingham author of the 14th Ammendment(which has not been changed in any way,)is "anyone born in the jurisdiction of the US to parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty."
3) Natural born is not the same a "citizen" or "native citizen" or "naturalized citizen".
Natural born requires two parents both of whom are US citizens.
Obama Sr. owed allegiance to the British Crown, the very nation the founders sought to protect the presidency from with the natural born requirement.
Obama's own admission and the definition of natural born proves his ineligibility.
Facts are facts, the song remains the same.

Even Ann Coulter Says "Birthers" Are....
wrong. So what is the problem, fellow Conservatives?
(Sarcasim off)
Something is obviously wrong, otherwise Obama would have issued the long form birth certificate long ago, to the press, to the world, to everyone. If the Democrats (and Obama) are trying to wait so that the issue of Obama's long form will prove all Conservatives are "nuts" or "crazy" at some future time, then they are failing because the mainstream Conservative pundits (like Ms. Coulter and Bill O'Rielly) are not trying to force the issue.
I sense confusion at all layers of the government and the press. No one is quite sure what is going on. However, I believe the Conservative pundits are probably correct. They do NOT need to press this issue. If Obama IS NOT a US Citizen, the Conservative pundits can always say, "Look what the Democrats did!" And the Democrats will probably dissolve as a party for "hiding" the fact that Obama is not eligible.
If, on the other hand, Obama and the Democrats are "waiting" to issue a long form birth certificate, then upon its issue the Conservitive pundits can say, "We never said Obama wasn't eligible."
Also note, if Obama is NOT eligible, the USA is in a Constitutional Crisis. The Democrat Party WILL OWN THE ENTIRE MESS.
Where there is smoke, there is generally fire. Something is wrong. Personally I think Obama has two "citizenships". This would make him ineligible to be POTUS. But no one wants to "force" the issue.
Perhaps only the US Military can force this issue. But it will have to come from the non-Pentagon, combat troops. If substantial numbers of the US Military refused to obey any orders from Obama, it would force this issue.

Agenda driven media mischief, indeed
Chris matthews invited gorden liddy to come on his program and look at the birth cirtificate evidence. Hardline had to apply for a copy mof the document the birthers want to see. He showed it to liddy and asked if that was enough proof of what he needed to close the issue. Liddy, of course, said he would have to examine it closely to make that determination - but wouldn't say if that would be enough, if it was what matthews said it was. Its what the birthers said was all that was necessary but we know they will want to keep the conspiracy theory going by claiming whatever hawaii provided was a fraud. Same with the two announcements of birth by two different hawaii newspapers. Everything is a conspiracy to the group that cant accept reality and needs to believe in fantasy.
What was sad was how liddy acted like a feeble old man when presented with that evidence and couldn't think normally and needing time to process words - but he didn't seem to accomplish that in the ten minutes of that segment. He was looking for a new excuse why he wouldn't accept the document he said was all that was needed.
This question begs for attention. If official hawaiian documents aren't acceptable to these birthers, what is considered to be real evidence to them?
Why, the handwritten statement of a woman in africa (whos mental disposition is unknown) supplied by an unaccredited source - THATS what.

Shortly after Mr. Klein stated that "Obama's birth certificate was destroyed," the state of Hawaii's Dr. Fukino reassured the world that they did NOT destroy the "vital records," and that Obama's birth certificate was there.
I wonder if scrambled or over easy is more appropriate for Mr. Klein's face?

It's just that a birth certificate actually showing him to be born in Kenya (or anywhere outside of the U.S.) would have been easier for the Obama supporters to accept. He is probably hiding his college documents because they probably show that he did not present himself as a U.S. citizen then but a foreign student.

There is something (or many somethings) that he doesn't want the public to see - it's hard to argue against that statement. Charles, you’ve got a few facts wrong
What Chris Matthews had was the “Certification of Live Birth” which is not the same as a Hawai’ian Birth Certificate. See if you can find the name of the hospital or the name of the doctor or midwife’s name on the document that is being passed off as a birth certificate – you can’t because it’s not there. It is on a real birth certificate.
WorldNetDaily has a real 1961 birth certificate shown to illustrate the difference between a ‘long-form” and what has been passed off as Obama’s “birth certificate.” Check the State of Hawai’i website and you’ll find that there is a situation where that form is issued for a child born elsewhere (not in Hawai’i) based on a statement from a parent.
The State of Hawaii has refused to provide a copy of the “long-form” certificate to anyone without the express permission of Barack Obama, which has not been forthcoming. And as of July 27th, Dr. Chyome Fukino (Director of the Hawai’i State Dept. of Health) had released copies to no one. Matthews had a copy of what had been posted on the DailyKos website – the COLB. That’s not what we want to see – we’ve seen that. Who was the doctor (or midwife) and in which of the two hospitals that have been claimed as his birth hospital was he actually born?
The answer to your question is easy. Obama could direct Hawai’I to release certified copies of the original “long-form” birth certificate. It’s that simple. Obama himself has created this controversy by hiding documents that we, the people, should have a right to see.
Answer me this. Why has Obama run up attorney bills reported to be approaching a million dollars preventing the release of his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, or Columbia thesis?
Why do you think that the President of the United States believes that those records should not be available to the people – his employers? Why does he insist in hiding them?
