I hope that Bill Whiting and Edna have been reunited, but I have not seen an update. Perhaps I'll check around this afternoon.

As for punishment for the worthless scum who took the dog, I probably wouldn't shed too many tears if vigilante justice resulted should they have killed the dog. If the dog was returned unharmed, I'd still be comfortable in finding out that someone beat these miserable pieces of crap with a steel pipe and broke a few ribs to teach them a lesson.
