Where Did My Party Go?- Secession from GOP

I FEEL OUR PAIN

All you wrote is true. It is difficult not to notice that for McCain and for many other so-called Republicans, the will of the people may as well be a will-o'-the-wisp.

The one track McCain has which for me is his undoing is his absolute refusal to "get it," notwithstanding his statements to the contrary, with regard to illegal aliens and illegal immigration. Does he need corrupt and illegal votes to get elected? If it's not that, what is it?

I agree with McCain's mother: there are no conservatives left. The only difference between her and me (besides a few years) is that she said she was going to have to hold her nose and vote for her son.

Thanks again for your insightful words. Yes, we are feeling the pain right now. I am hoping for a raucous convention where the Conservatives will bolt and the real GOP will caucus and choose the "only choice". Remember, he has not given up his delegates and has not endorsed McAmnesty! I know it is wishful thinking on my part but I was taught to fight until the very end. Let's hope to God that something good can come from this. I am beginning to agree with Ann Coulter and her "Let the Dems win now so as to win back the Congress and Presidency in 2012 for the next 30 years after. Almosr sounds Machiavellian doesn't it?
