A Thank You And A Story

Curtal Friar

A great story, well written.

Conquering one's greatest fear is what makes one strong in mind and spirit, along with faith. Without faith, we can never hope to achieve greatness, even in the small things. Thanks for a fabulous start to my day, and congratulations!!!!

Thanks Y

and thanks as well to all my readers.

Hope to continue to have the honor of your visits.

Congrats Friar

Not being a catholic it is fun to watch my friends faces puzzle when I tell them I regularly visit with a Friar at an Abby. When I explain they often ask how to find this Friar and his Abby----I tell them. I hope by spreading the word we can get the Abby into the top 5!!
Keep up the Lord's work Friar!

Curtal Friar

What a great story with a valuable lesson. I am printing this and sharing it with everyone but most especially my daughter!

Thank You Very Much!!!!

Congratulations!

You revealed another subject we have in common: writing. I've been writing since I was a teenager (you young'un), and it is always exciting to see a submitted letter or article, poem or story, published or posted. Whether others appreciate it or argue is another thing (receiving positive responses from professionals is exciting too).

Goodonya for reaching another goal, and keep up the good work.

Yours for the Foundation (1 Cor. 3:11) of the Founders,

That was a really

pleasant story. Glad to see you're on your way to the top.

CF

Congratulations...you're on your way.I enjoy your style, especially your no-punches-held attitude in dealing with TH's idiots(who shall remain nameless and forgotten).Keep it coming.

You Gotta Love DI's!

They help you overcome your natural instincts (i.e., What in the H*ll am I doing here?); and they encourage you to "climb to the top" both literally and as it deals with your life.

Congrats CF!

Congratulations!

on making the top ten! Whoo Hooo.

I must say I'm disappointed not to see my blog on your favorites list....LOL

I need a new marketing plan! Ha Ha.

Just kidding. Really happy for you! Quality will out.

Now I will comment on your post

Wow. You have a way with words, my friend. I could picture the entire scene as you described your obstacle course.

I, too, love to write, and I feel encouraged by your attitude. Sometimes a little encouragement by someone you respect (and fear) means more than any other kind of praise you can get! I had a similar mentor with my theatre work. (Thanks Daphne!) And thanks to you too, Curtal Friar.

Thanks!!

I appreciate your support and I have added you to my blog roll too! :-)

God Bless!

Great story

I always enjoy reading your comments, CF, and now I have become a real fan of your blog. You are a great writer. I think you should pursue your dream, and damn the rejection slips.

If it helps to "push" you a little, I always wanted to be a nurse, but life got in the way, and now, I wish to hell I had done it. It is my one regret in life. Well, that, and not sticking to my new diet very long. Go for it. What have you got to lose?
