I’m a Better Man

I started a comment, but it got too complicated, too fast.

Suffice it to say that I agree with you, that Truth resides where Truth resides. As a very happy cradle Catholic, I have been accused of being an idol worshipper, cult member, etc. Because I am a Catholic immersed in a protestant culture, I lost my way for a long time. Books like Stillness Speaks were helpful stepping stones back to a faith that works.

I would love to see some pics of where you live.

When I reread my post, “I’m a Better Man”, I can see now that I was a bit perturbed. It was frustrating to see some folks, who probably didn’t read the book, give a false impression of the contents. Nonetheless, I am better for having read “A New Earth” and especially, “In the Now”.

I’m a product from a protestant/catholic mix marriage. It wasn’t until I read Tolle’s works, that I began to understand my own views toward religion. Simply put, I gained another perspective to see the world from. Isn’t that what “growing up” is all about?
