Water-Boarding Capitalism

water-boarding capitalism

Conservatease. Wow, brilliant article. The "... waterboarding capitalism" is a classic. What an absolutely perfect description of what this President is doing!

Thanx for this and your previous posts.

Great Metaphor

One day perhaps we'll ride Obama out of D.C. on a rail, metephorically of course. We can hope for that change.

I've figured it out!

The reason why Obama and his croneys are going after Rush, and why he's talking down his own economy is something he learned from his pal Saul Alinsky. Put fear into the people, and divide and conquer your enemies. Obama is talking down his own economy to make the people fear the current economic setup. His socialist agenda will be the "rescue plan" that the American people will feel they need. Obama and his croneys are blaming the current crisis on capitalism. There's no question of this. His silence when it comes to the drop of the stock market shows that he doesn't care much at all about it. He's a socialist and he's surrounded himself his whole adult life with socialists. Limbaugh has the loudest voice for not only conservatives, but capitalists. If he continues to use his croneys and the MSM (hard to tell the difference) to make Limbaugh look like a kook, then the opposite must be the right answer to the intellectually lazy Americans who voted for him. It's all to put forth his socialist policies under the radar. Damn, I'm good!

Tease

Good points. We all want our economy, our free enterprise system to work. But, I do not think liberals believe that in their inner being. They secretly and now openly want more of a socialist mix than capitalism. They think that the rich, the innovators, the investors, the producers have an unfair advantage( of course they never think that about themselves). So they want to punish them. And this naif in the WH is doing so even if he cannot answer the NYTImes on their questioning of him as a socialist!!! Drop by.

Mrs. AL

Thanks, as always, for your kind words...
Everyday Obama pushes the balance between individual rights and the government's control of "capital".

I look at my two kids and I seriously wonder what life will be like for them...and I look at my husband as he puts on his Army uniform in the morning...and I wonder what war he will be fighting next year, in what faraway country, because Obama has made us weak and vulnerable.

What a moment to be witnessing...

Stefano

Thanks so much...Four years does seem like an awful long time to be at the mercy of an ideologue like Obama!

The Body

And while Obama and Alinsky are friends...we have Limbaugh and Ayn Rand to look to. Models of how to fight the invasiveness of statism, liberalism, socialism...whatever power-hungry people choose to label themselves.

Thanks for the comments!

Rackoons

I think you are right on about liberals' intentions. They are not like us, and they do not have that vision of the shining city on a hill. More like the dingy hovel in the swamp.

And it's evident even to the young ones. My nephew, when he was in elementary school, has to draw a picture of "the people of America"...so obnoxious brain-washing, multi-cultural exercise, no doubt. Well, as a Rush baby...he knew just how to create a picture of America. He divided the outline of the United States in half. He drew a group of people on the right half of the United States and labeled them "Americans". He drew a group of people on the left side and labeled them "Democrats". Kids have an amazing knack of simplifying things so perfectly!
