Speculators are capitalist

That's all they are. People putting capital up to bet on the future.Why do people go to school? They want to make more money in the future. Why do people go into government?

I still can't believe that people don't understand that speculators have to SELL oil and LOWER the price to make money. They seem to think they can somehow get rich just buying oil and sitting on it.

Why do we not require at least the bare minimum of economics in school?

Of course, the ideas about speculators are less stupid than the argument that "more oil won't lower prices".
