Finally ... I found someone who seems to agree with me:
The Declaratioin of Indepedence IS our founding document!
The 'bill of rights' is a "declatory and restrictive" bill which LIMITS GOVERNMENT and does NOT GRANT ANY "RIGHTS."

This was a faaaaaabulous read and I am going to return again to read it again.
