Please accept my apology for not responding sooner. Between work and seminary studies, this old man gets tired. :)

This is part of the material for which I have been searching. Messianic/Christian teachings. Responding to the freely offered grace from Christ is simple, but we have never been told it would be an easy path. This is the "culture" to which we are called. This helps to explain how a Christian can be in the world but not of the world. Instead of the church "changing" to fit the culture, it should act more like Peter, providing us with the foundation for our lives. This can only occur when we learn the absolute truths provided by G_d in his Scriptures.

I am fascinated by the Hebrew and Greek study that you put into your writing. I have taken Greek and Hebrew (passed but I am notoriously terrible in languages), also currently taking an intro into Hebrew word study. I have the "opportunity to excel", as we used to say in the military, by studying the word "hesed" (chesed).

I will continue to study your writings. I have been led to believe that Christians should stop reacting to heretical writings and pagan concepts (AKA apologetics) and instead become pro-active by stating the wonderful truths provided by our creator.
