My guy can handle it.

It's hard to find an article where people are actually reading and commenting here at TownHall, any more. Therefore, I will try to get the word out with several postings.

You have been duped by media, both liberal and conservative, about McCain. Therefore, you don't have the whole story about Mike Huckabee, either. Here's something you might not have known.

You see, it's not about hating the Democrats.

It's about a love for our country.

I don't choose to vote Obama because I'm anti McCain. I choose to vote Mike Huckabee because I'm pro-America.

I see better days for America with Huckabee, not the avoidance of a lesser evil with McCain.

I see someone who really comes from Hope, again, with Mike Huckabee. Someone who will make America a better place. Maybe even someone who will make Americans a better people.

I really have Hope with Mike Huckabee, again.

DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILIES

I'd be open to a law that held fathers accountable.

Already in Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors" we see the germ of today's "dysfunctional family." Although the marriage is barely intact, the father appears to be an alcoholic and an adulterer.

In "Hamlet," we can't be sure just when Claudius started having sex with Gertrude...Quite possibly, Hamlet is the son of Claudius and Gertrude.

Hamlet's extreme "dysfunction," if you will, is a function of this fully articulated modern DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY.

As a counterbalance to this sad affair, perhaps we might well contemplate the life and death of St. Thomas More.

Or another contemporary, Ignatius, Saint Ignatius--a very manly, modern saint.

Of course, the real roots of this "prototype" of the self-absorbed man and woman is to be found in Genesis.

Thank the Lord for the means of "overcoming" some or all of this--the sacraments.
