Part of good mental hygiene is distinguishing between reality and wishful thinking. I REALLY really wish you were right. I REALLY really wish that shallow ego would trump lust for power. I REALLY really wish that Bill would sabotage Hillary. But I don't think it will go that way. Bill Clinton has already proved that he will sacrifice ALL personal dignity to gain the spotlight and power. It would be but a small thing to sacrifice a little ego to be back in the White House, where he knows he will be on TV every single day. He used to be the pitcher, but he'll settle for being the catcher if it will JUST get him back on the playing field. Heck, he would settle for bat-boy if it would get him back on the field, because he knows he is irresistable to the media.

Again, I REALLY really wish and hope and pray that you're right and the Clinton machine will implode. But I don't THINK it will, I don't think there's a politician alive, Rep or Dem, who can beat them, and never forget there is plenty of room in Fort Marcie Park.

I believe if the Republicans had offered Bill CLINTON a television show to star him? ..he would not have run for president the first time, nor the second. However, the first time, no-one, expected Clinton to win.. he was nominated as an unknown, because Bush #1 had such HIgh #s due to the 1st Iraq operation. The Machine that offered Ross Perot 50% of the computer needs of the U.S. Security System even brought Perot back for the 2nd blocking run.( never mind the tax free zone.)...and brought the donation of the White House to Bill Clinton...who never rec'd even 50% of the popular vote..REmember??

Oh, yes, I remember well. It's not going to matter, now, though, because the Repubs are going to "Perot" themselves ... Ron Paul or Tancredo or McCain or Thompson will either run independent or will spend so much time trashing Giuliani ... Never mind the fact that we are going to see his picture in that party dress until we throw up, and the eXtreme Xistians will stay home in their trailer parks because they would NEVER vote for a pro-abortion, multi-divorced pseudo-Catholic, and the would NEVER vote for a Mormon.
