Illegal Immigration is Not a Winner

The wide difference of opinion between you and your friend is indicative of the wide range of opinions on immigration and why I do not think the GOP is going to win any elections with this issue. An fair number of the GOP membership are business owners and many of these busiesses depend on the labor for their businesses to continue operating. One of the proposed solutions is to make criminals out of these people. Do we think they will continue to support the party's candidate with the potential that they be charged with a crime?

I have been told that a post election poll by the GOP showed that the electorate is concerned about immigration but they are not voting for a candidate with a particular stand on the issue. They just want it fixed.
