What do we expect?
From a country that gives more votes to the American Idol than the president? That has hundreds of celebrity gossip magazines that people actually read AND buy? That can name statistics of their favorite sports teams from the 1970s but can't explain a single position held by their senator?
Americans have become complacent in their freedom, and now they reap the harvest.
