Dr. Cameron is not really representative of any current thinking on the subject. It would like saying Pat Robertson/Jerry Falwell represents all christians. Fundamentalist/literal thinking is just another minority point of view. There are plenty of theories and pschyologists that have a better grasp of the subject.
