Some welcome "Carbon Credits" Skepticism

Fraud Potential is Ozone Layer High!

AC, I work in the environmental engineering biz particularly on solid waste landfills. "Hier ins Cullyforjna," the Govinator has created Kyoto Lite. Automobile's are the highest emission source in the state yet (R)nold is going tooth and nail after so-called "stationary" (aka "Can't Runaway") emission sources. Makes [political] sense since this, being the guy who got pinned by the nurse's and teacher's unions on that special election is now going after Detroit (and Tokoyo??). Good luck with that!! Landfills are at the top of the stationary source heap, naturally. Less ethical consultants are hawking GHG credits as a revenue source for their clients having to install landfill gas controls. One problem is there are no tangible assets being traded here, just a "market" based on policy and political wind. This entire carbon credit market is one big fat scam that alot of suckers are falling for. Thanks for this article link!
