Houston Area Ike Survivor, volume 1

Also survived Ike

First of all, DO NOT even think of politicizing this natural disaster. You are NO BETTER than the "liberal" reporters whom you chastise. You and your family survived Ike much better than hundreds of thousands of Texans. You should bow down and kneel to YOUR God and thank him, her or it for the blessings you have received.

Describing the news coverage as a "far more lethal attack of the liberal media" is an insult to everyone in this region who suffers REAL catastrophic losses to their homes, automobiles and other posessions.

Yes, I agree that some reporters (from Ch. 13, specifically) were quick to try to create a story and chomped at the bit to pounce on FEMA and the Bush Administration. For the record, NO ONE ever blamed ANYTHING on George W. Bush.

The real catastrophe is your family having to put up with your reactionary hysteria and bad temper. To have to live with that would be utter terror.

I have read your other postings. I strongly suggest that you proof your writing with a grammar and spelling check program. Then proof it again. Your misuse of words such as it's/its, your/you're, where/were, there/their, as well as misspellings, punctuation errors (and the list goes on) only adds fuel to the Liberal Elite's fire when they accuse Conservatives of being uncultureed, illiterate rednecks. Your writing certainly convinces me of that accusation.

Dear also

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my post. For the record as I stated my neighbors and I are “the lucky ones” and as such have done what we can to reach out to our fellow Houstonians that did not fare so well.

But Bob I didn’t politicize the hurricane the sleazy media did, I am attempting to bring what they did and continue to do to the larger public. By the way to call what happened “chomped at the bit to pounce” would be akin to saying the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand lead to a bit of a ruckus.

The people of Texas are strong and resourceful; we will rebuild, recover and be stronger for it. What the press is attempting to do will destroy the vary core of what is America, if successful, it will be much harder to fix than Galveston Island. You can read, and undoubtedly comment on, more in volume 2.

Your concern for my relationship with my family is touching and we will pray for you Bob, pray that you will come to a better understanding of who God is. You do seem to be a bit over concerned about how the left views us. I for one could care less what “Liberal Elite's” think.

Oh almost forgot, thankx also for the grammatical corrections. As you can tell I am a product of public schooling but will endeavor to edit more effectively in the future. In your comments for example it’s possessions not posessions and uncultured not uncultureed, see I’m doing better already. Funny I didn’t see a link to your grammatically perfect blog.
