Okay, You Got Me
That is indeed an compelling analogy. The only thing I'd suggest would be that the guy wouldn't have gotten in so easily if you had been paying someone decent wages to clean your place already. That guy would have been able to fight him off.

Good point, Piker. However,
with the Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi pledging to raise the minimum wage to $7.25 an hour, I wouldn't be able to keep the housekeeper on the payroll. Not to mention that even if I had that guy on the payroll, and he did fight off the illegal, the illegal would probably sure me for the beatdown he would have gotten from my "employee". Then the liberal judge hearing the case would have taken my house from me, and given t to the illegal as restitution.
That's why I can't have any hired help.
Sarcasm switch now set to the *off* position.

Now if we could just get the left-wits to stop smoking pot long enough for their heads to clear...

easy solution, bro
This whole flap could die down if everyone (right and left) would start washing their own cars, cleaning their own homes, taking care of their own kids, and pushing their own lawnmowers.
Frankly, you're going to have to take on both sides on this issue. Far too many people have forgotten what a lawnmower looks like. Perhaps you can make a bundle and teach classes.

Source of the analogy....
The source of the analogy is Immigration Watch. The basic analogy was written by JonJayRay.
There is a much longer version which was edited by Celeste Allen on that web site and it is now posted as a blog with comment on this one as well. If you are interested in reading the longer version, it is on this website (Townhall) and is called "Illegal Immigration Analogy" by CelesteJak. It is my first posting so the spacing isn't what it should be, but the message is clear.
Best Wishes,
Celeste

What happens if...
What happens if you allow the guy to stay in your house and raise his family for a decade or so and he wants to become a member so that he will contribute to the household income?
Should he have broken in in the first place? No. Now that he is here, what is the responsible thing to do?
It reminds me of the situation in Iraq in this respect. Many say we should not have gone into Iraq in the first place. So what? The important question is what do we do now. The answer? We do the responsible thing.
