But I could see us having to have another real crisis before the left-leaners would tip the scales in the direction of getting independent of foreign oil. It's always been a security issue as much as an economic one but the left refuses to accept it as such.

once we vote out the greens and exploit them we will be fine...Western Europe on the other hand, is already making policy decisions based on not upsetting Russia. Eastern Europe looks at Georgia and sees the Iron Curtain returning. They are determined to be outside of it.
