Very good.

Thanks for the reminder! Yes, that is encouraging.

We must Keep the Faith, and vote!!!

Thanks

for the link, went to the Fox site, might stay there on the 4th.

Must remember to vote down ticket also.

Sandra W. - just vote :)!

Another fun place (if not a little unusual) to find encouragement is Hill Buzz on wordpress.com...these former Hillary supporters are not IN THE LEAST backing down, and have some great info on situations in battleground states. Check that site out - it's a great morale builder!
Thanks for stopping by - let's keep everybody strong and fighting!

Jevica- Fox EV map

I thought the FOX map was really cool - if you know zip codes, you can see results by precinct. I was able to vote early here in Texas, and am lucky enough to have a fantastic Congressman, Michael Burgess, who even voted against the bailout - twice!
Stay strong! This race is far from over - it's all smoke and mirrors and media-driven illusion!

Cindy

Keeping my thoughts heavenward. Done all I can do. Now just praying. Psalm 47:2 "How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth!"

BMU - re comments

Seriously, in thinking about God's will - like everything else I don't understand, if it happens that Obama wins this election, I will have to understand it as another one of those things. God is good, all the time. There are plans I don't understand, and there will be a reason for EVEN that.
That does not keep me from working for what I think is best for our country, and I continue forward with that!

I agree Cindy

this isn't over by a long shot. We've all got to show up, turnout wins it. Hey, good blog, I wish my settings page worked, when it does, I'll add you to my blogroll. Keep up the good work Cindy!

That's The Spirit!

Cindy and all: thank you for your comments and your positive attitude. You're right about HillBuzz, too, I've been reading the same thing. This is over when WE SAY IT'S OVER! We know the media is going to try to call states prematurely tomorrow night to discourage conservative from voting; we know the threat of rioting if Obama loses will be brought up (but look what happens in Philadelphia - they riot when they win, too, so what's the difference?); we know the astroturfers and the skewed polls are trying to break our morale.

So what? We're Americans! We fought for the precious right to vote. Use it! Vote tomorrow as if your freedom depended on it. It probably does. Bring a carload of family and friends.

Over at ThreeSources.com, author jk has a map of his own. It's close. It's perilously close. But I think we take Pennsylvania, and maybe Colorado, and if that happens, we win. I hear good things out of Maine, too. But it only happens if we ignore the Eeyores and vote.

As for prayer, absolutely. Let me leave you with two thoughts, as long as we're in that vein:

2 Sam. 23:3-4: "... When one rules justly over men, ruling in the fear of God, he dawns on them like the morning light, like the sun shining forth on a cloudless morning, like rain that makes grass to sprout from the earth."

On the other hand...

1 Sam. 8:18: "And in that day you will cry out because of your king, WHOM YOU HAVE CHOSEN FOR YOURSELVES, but the Lord will not answer you in that day." (Emphasis mine)

Which future do you choose? A good ruler, or an evil one? That decision has been placed in our hands, people of faith.

Keith Arnold - wise words indeed

The scriptural contest is certainly thought-provoking. Thanks for that - I'll close down the night with those thoughts.
I know it may seem strange to those who are riddled with anxiety, but I am just excited! I can hardly wait until tomorrow to see what AMERICA decides. Either way - it is the voter who makes the decision...and we will and must have faith in our people. If Obama is elected, then we will continue to fight for our values and ideals. That's how it works.
As for tomorrow - fight on! My 6th grade daughter is taking the McCain message to her mock election tomorrow! She's a proud McCain/Palin backer!
Thanks for coming by - courage!

Cindy

Since the last comment, the worst has happened. Yet it's not entirely the worst. Republicans still have more than 40 votes in the Senate. Hopefully they will be able to jam up the worst that they can do. Yet, as you said, "God is good, all the time". We trust Him to help us, then work hard to promote good and prevent evil. Got to pray that we are in the center of His will, personally, then do what comes to you.

HATE PUT YOU IN THE CLOSET!

Its break my heart that you are so dirty, take a clean shower and used a black towel it will cover up your dirt. At this appointed time you should get it change is coming misses overseer. Don’t worry we will forgive you for the past so don’t fear no man or woman but GOD himself

johnaton

I hope you look in YOUR closet and find the "hooked on phonics" tape your mom ordered for you. Your grammar was so bad I could barely make out what you were saying, and your comment didn't make any sense. "Its break my heart that you are so dirty, take a clean shower and used a black towel it will cover up your dirt." What would the purpose of a black towel to hide dirt be after taking a shower? You lost me, and that's hard to do.

Hey Cindy

Missing you gal. But I understand, I haven't had much blog in me lately, either. These two-year long election cycles are killers. I'm kinda taking a break. I've seen you comment elsewhere, though. I followed a comment you left on STAND with pastor Keith in California. Because of that I made email contact with him.
I think he's a neat guy and shares much of my views and philosophy.
Well, let's rest up. It all starts up again after January 20.

Hi BMU -

You're right - I have been wanting to write, but just haven't been inspired "enough". I have opinions, but there's so much to say, I can't focus it.
Besides that, my father fell and broke his ankle, requiring surgery, and my sis and I are busy taking care of him (no weight on it for 6 weeks, and no driving...he lives alone).
I really like the STAND blog - glad you found it, too!
Thanks so much for reaching out - I will get back to the blog - and hope you will, too. I miss it.

Sorry to hear about your dad

Y'all are in my prayers. I hope he mends quickly.
