The snows on Kilamanjaro are receding because of deforestation around the mountain and in the area or the mountain. This deforestation additionally leads to a loss in surrounding jungle vegetation, compunding the problem. This leads to a lessening of available moisture in the air, which has the effect of reducing snow amounts and historic air flow/currents around the mountain..

Man may indeed be causing the snow loss, but it has nothing to do with greenhouse gasses, or other "global warming" processes.
