This is the first of your posts I've read. Hats off for clear concise commentary.

I'm a middle aged liberal, and I have to admit that the only young conservatives I know are evangelicals whose political opinions are more an outpouring of their religious beliefs than more base political concerns.

I'm curious, exactly what is the appeal of the conservative movement for today's youth?
