Obamanomics Equals Fascist Economics

You have adeptly defined the threat our republic faces. You have also pointed out the only tool there is for combatting this threat. But, I am sorry to say, that tool exists only in the ability of an individual to correctly identify the threat and then convince a sufficient number of others of the threat and to unite in a way that will effectively negate the threat.

An individual has no influence on the courts or government that is recognized by them or will cause them to consider the merits of any argument the individual may have.

With the refusal by congress to recognize the individual's right to petition for redress and their refusal to call for a convention to propse ammendments, we, as citizens, have only the voting booth and our guns to use. The former requires us to wait for the next election to try and rid congress of only 1/3 of its conspirators. Even if we were 100% successful at replacing all incumbents with constitutionalists they could not turn back the damage that will be done by then.
The latter is no more than a prison sentence at best, a death sentence more likely.

We can only hope that a sufficiently high ranking military leader, or the Defense Secretary, will take seriously the oath they swore to protect and defend against enemies within. Hope is of no use unless you have created the foundation for it.

I appreciate your feelings/thinking on the matter, and I agree that we are in a dire time.

Let me propose that there is always a third or forth option, and, in this case, an option that I think is very powerful.

Like you, I think that there has to be a constitutional reformation in the US. Nothing short of that will do.

I suggest that a tax revolt would be a third option, and a very potent one. Consider; how many Americans saying, "No, you may not take my life! Not all of it, or part of it." before the construct we now live under would have to collapse, to be replaced with a new...or the original...one.
