We can thank FDR for that mess.He wanted to find a way to keep democrats in power for as far down the road as possible. Create all these "wonderful
programs",get the people to think YOU are their only hope, there you have it.Eisenhour could have stopped it,but didn't,Kennedy was better than most democrats, but he also did nothing, and then with LBJ,KABOOM.The repubs, under Newt, had an opportunity to roll a bunch of this crap back, but THEY did nothing as well. The two-party system,CK,IMHO,has been an absolute detriment to our Republic for too long.Where is there ANY difference between them today? The current crop of politicians care ONLY about how many votes they can buy.I do like your idea about a Constitutional jury, but how would you propose getting that past the entrenched triumvirate of media, legal, and academe? THAT alliance of fools would no doubt try to quash ANY such attempt at actually EDUCATING the people of HOW our Constitution actually works. As to the media and Obama, these clucks believe it is THEY who "made history".OF COURSE they are going to be lickspittles for him. Proof positive of your point, liberals ARE easily fooled by slick talk, and fancy packaging. Who else was THAT said about? If you guessed Ronaldus Magnus, give yourself a gold star. The last paragraph here is easily summed. Liberalism needs the cloak of ignorance over it,because rational, thinking beings would NEVER buy into their cockamamie schemes, and they know it. So,anyone who is perceived as a threat to that is to be DESTROYED. To gain insight as to their thought process, just read Alinsky's"Rules for Radicals". THAT is their playbook.

"The two-party system,CK,IMHO,has been an absolute detriment to our Republic for too long."

I completely agree with that statement. What parties do is force all inside to conform to those principles. What we need is free thinking people everywhere that can argue for each point and not count on 50 votes even if the bill is crap.

Reagan did prove that liberals can easily be swayed. If the guy that is the measure of conservative today can sweep 49 states, then we know that liberals do not stand for anything themselves. Every democrat president in recent memory did not win in a landslide. Even Obama and his slick talking did not. I look back over some other elections and I notice in the post WW2 era LBJ won with Reps getting under 100 electoral votes, but Eisenhower twice, Nixon once, and Reagan twice all did it. Dems are easily manipulated while Republicans are free thinkers.
