"Do nothing" is good
If they've done this much damage as a "do nothing" Congress, I shudder to think what they'll be able to achieve once all Republican resistance is gone.

I'm with you. Their lack of achievement (which in their eyes means they all get A's on their papers) is digging us into a hole we're never getting out of.
If Obama gets it, they're just going to start pushing us into the hole and covering it with dirt.

Hopefully, they will carry-on the "do nothing" traditions again this year.

Meege I agree...to an extent
I agree a 'do nothing' liberal congress is a great thing. However, I would like to see REAL conservatives take hold of the leadership in Congress and bring forth laws that actually adhere to conservatism: tax cuts, limited government spending, limited government (period), and a strong military, etc. And once those laws are in place, go home and get out of the way of the American people - we've got lives to live and happiness to pursue.
I fear that the next Congress will push us over the edge into socialism (even more than we already are).

Did you get the article where the other dingbat running against her got her headquarters vandalized?
I gues her followers are already stepping up the violence.

Ain't it the truth Jen?
The sad part is, most of the unrepentant reprobates will be back next year!
Murtha may finally get the boot, but most of the idiots that got us into the current fiscal mess, are the ones who are going to "Get us out of it"!
Lord help us if the Rubber stamper in chief takes the white house.
Thank God for allies like the PUMAs, who will help us drag McCain over the finish line 1st.
MI voters! vote yes on 1 and No on 2!

Joe, I did read that...
I read that the headquarters was heavily damaged. Not that I hold any real liking for Sheehan; however, it just goes to show that liberals cannot tolerate dissent. Welcome to thug politics, comrade.
With regards to Pelosi's a liar, she said it herself, if you have to lie to keep your seat in the Congress than do it.

I hear ya, Jackpine
Would you have the same person who messed up the plumbing in your house back to fix it, all the while knowing that he doesn't think he did anything wrong to begin with? I wouldn't think so. I'd be calling 'Joe the plumber'. :-)
I know we here in PA got upset with a pay-raise that was passed in the 'cover of darkness' and we did get rid of some of those officials. However, people are always afraid of losing funding, etc. for their area. What they don't seem to think about is that if we elect people who actually are for lower taxes, less government, we all will have more money to put towards what we want in our communities, give to charities, setup businesses, etc.
I just don't know what people are thinking anymore. Do they really want government to take care of them?
