2 things...first, I've had about enough of this whole argument. It is absurd that the left would even think the opposition (Rush, and most of us non-statists) is wrong for doing what the opposition does, namely oppose those in power. Hopefully that opposition arises because of the reasons you stated instead of pure partisanship (like the left did to GWB, and Reagan as well).
Second, it sounds like the administration and it's kool-aid drinking followers have some very thin skin. I have yet to hear any ad hominem attacks (not to say there haven't been any), but the level of vitriol sounds to me to be rooted in policy disagreements instead of personal hate. Most critics I have heard appear to be deliberately soft peddling some of the hyperbole in order to give the man a chance, even though we have known since the primaries (and if you read his books, much earlier) what type of Alinsky-inspired tactics and Marxist policies were in the offing. Bush never got that type of chance, as the level of hate was instantaneous due to the "theft" of the 2000 election. That being said, I believe the gild is off the lily, and the MSM will have to acknowledge that Rush has a point when we see further erosion of wealth. Until then, it will be Bush's fault, of course, but the truth will win out.
Great post.

One eyed lib/Dens lack perspective!
Simply, Rush was misunderstood, most likely the leftist deliberately took his words out of context and on purpose gave the wrong impression!
Nothing new, both sides are devious! Yes, Ameri-cans wanted Bush to fail in Iraq. Yes informed, wise independent minds want 'Os' RobinHood agenda, that is wasting our tax dollars on those who will misspend their handouts, to fail! Now the finanically ignorant, inexperienced Obama is
playing SantaClause and passing bills to reward rich AIG losers and foreign banks, not just the needy! Of course he knew, if he isn't the DECIDER, then why do we need him as President! God help us!
