Let's Reinvent Ourselves

Romney Reinvents Himself

Mitt Romney, good looking and square-jawed as usual, appeared on Hanity & Colmes show last night. I'd like bloggers to comment on this themselves. Did he say he wasn't going to be the VP nominee or did he skillfully avoid the Colmes questions by praising his former opponent, John McCain.

I believe he was very impressive and sincere in his answers and he actually does admire McCain a whole lot.

In an earlier Sean Hanity interview of Romney in his Boston home he said anyone would be foolish not to want to become McCain's running mate, so we know he wants it--but how much, no one knows.

We also know there's going to be a platform fight at the convention. How much help with conservatives could a persuasive Romney be in such a battle? I say, a whole lot. But more importantly, how much good is Romney on this ticket? Can he deliver the votes in big northern states and help get McCain elected?

Romney

Don't misconstrue me. I do not believe Romney is a flip-flopper--one who constantly reinvents himself. On the contrary, he has been true to his convictions throughout the debates and to this hour. He was, and still is, the best candidate for president. Unfortunately for Obama, he is quickly moving to a centrist position from his liberal posture that got him the nomination. His followers are livid at some of his new-found positions.

This is not the case with Romney or McCain, however.
