Exactly correct
I was at my caucus too, and we chose delegates to go to the next meeting where they select who will be a delegate at the convention.
True, the non-binding straw poll had Romney by 2-1 over McCain. But it means nothing.

Do tell
Forgive the rest of us for not understanding quite how caucuses (cockeye?) work in the first place, much less one of this nature. Do you care to expound a little more?

Well, I was a delegae in MN SOOOOOOO
When I lived in MN I was active GOP
and a delegate:
YOU are listed as a "LIBERAL" a "DEMOCRAT"
From My experience with the GOP in MN is that you probably are not
a delegate if you are registered as a Liberal, a democrat:
you are right about non binding straw poll
HOWEVER, I do question if you are truly a
delegate:

My family and circle of acquaintances all
were active GOP:
We worked day and night to get Norm Coleman
and TIm Pawlenty elected: and are proud of them as decent men of honor:
We have subsequently left the GOP party because of people like perpetual liar McCain, bigots like Huckabee:
We still support and respect Coleman and Pawlenty but as Independent Conservatives:
The Old GOP was decent, honorable, dignity and honor meant a lot to us: HOWEVER, we had to bail: Because of corruption, liars, hate peddlers etc. like McCain, sleaze bags like Larry Craig, Tom Foley, bigots like Huckabee had infiltrated the party at higher levels.
Unless things have changed dramatically, I doubt that the party faithful would have a "registered liberal democrat" as a delegate
