There is no doubt in my eyes that Obama is a radical. Ultimately, our country is becoming more liberal. I can only hope now that a miracle occurs and Obama loses, which will at least prevent the courts from becoming more liberal. The country is still within saving distance, for how long though, I am not sure.

The worst part to me is that we all voted our conscience before. We weren't trying to punish anyone or subject anyone to anything. We just wanted to make sure about safety more than anything else.

However, those who have been informed of a variety of things that are pure speculation but explained in a manner that assumes common sense and reason alone, they feel they've been duped, cheated, etc. Those that thought they should have won last time on the idea they had been robbed in 2000 just became angrier.

Reason has give way to emotion by now. And that's what makes this so sad. People who argue and put down for sake of arguing and putting down. They are voting based on some benefit they get, selfishly. I could care less, I just want to be left alone and not be bothered to pay in just because someone else wants the government to provide for them from me. I don't want any handouts but I'll be sought to pay for others handouts, yet they don't see themselves as stealing from me. Perplexing.

BUT, there *is* a reason that we still vote rather than rely on polls to pick our 'leaders'. Granted, it doesn't look good, but, a McCain win is still possible.

It is amazing to think that a person could work 10, 12, 14 hours a day to get ahead and then just have taken away from you what you worked so hard for.

I worked those kind of hours on my first IT job and if I thought that extra money, which back then wasn't all that much, was going to be "taken" away from me, then why in the world would I even want to work OT?

Why would someone want to start up a business knowing once they got as successful as the government allows, then they take your money and cut a check and send it to someone else?

Safety seems be forgotten in the clamor to get someone else's money.

This morning on the WSJ Report they were talking about the similarities between Carter's and Obama's policies. Carter's were actually more moderate than Obama's. We will be in real trouble if he gets elected. It will most likely be short term. Even Plousy admits it takes a couple of sessions of Congress to get anything done. That means what happened in the Carter years can happen now. If Obama is elected it is more than likely in 2 yrs. when the next round of Congressional elections are held, a lot of the libs will be ousted.
IF Obama is elected, let's hope the Senate and House races turn out on our side this time so we don't have to wait 2 yrs.

Why was it appropriate for the media to make light of a kid raised by Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn because his parents were in jail for terrorist attacks getting into college, but it was inappropriate to ever mention the names of the officers KILLED in a ploy carried out by Weather Underground memmbers?

Because the media doesn't want us to remember those three men and the families that lost them. They want us to feel sorry for a boy who lost his terrorist parents to jail time that was more than deserved, who then went to be raised by MORE terrorists. Talk about a legacy!

The media COMPLETELY overlooked the New Orleans police going house to house and robbing law abiding citizens BY FORCE of their firearms after Katrina, but had NO PROBLEM reporting to hell and back how badly Bush was handling the situation.

We need to band our party together and take our country back to its roots.

And to do this, he will cut our military budget by 25%! The country is fighting two foreign wars against a brutal enemy! Is he telegraphing the wars will be over and our soldiers brought home in humiliation??!! Do these people not look at calendars? The election is November 4!

The MSM just might be taking a second look at Ovomit after Nobiden`s stellar performance in Fla. Viewership of all the Obama television networks continues to plummet and newspapers throughout the country are losing ad revenue and laying off employees. The NYT stock is now at junk status. Why? Because of the internet and the new media! Thank you, Town Hall! As long as we have the First Amendment, we can continue to express our various opinions and advance the debate to turn our country, if not all the way to the right, at least back onto the straight and narrow! I come from the south, and although I live in the Midwest now, none of my friends are voting O man! I never have trusted the "polls" or the "media" which is why I continue to vote. What saddens me is so many people STAY at home, thinking all is lost, because they believe what is on that stupid Tube! I think we all have various answers to that question. But three words might describe what has accrued. 'Lack of Vigilance.' We saw things happening to our culture and did nothing about it. To be "Brainwashed" by the Liberal teachers using Communist techniques. And now, generations have grown up thinking that America is not as good as claimed. That Socialism and even Communism may be a better choice.

We have only ourselves to blame, And now, with this election, the Liberals are about to reap what they have sown!

Yes, the similarities to Carter are striking and scary. Living through the Carter admin was the worst I can recall. Yes we will certainly be in for some real problems on the economical side for sure, and we have no idea what Obama will be like as a CIC.

One can hope that the libs would be ousted, but I don't feel too easy about that since so many, such as Kennedy, Kerry, Durbin, Pelosi, Reid, just to name a few of the usual suspects keep getting voted back in.

I'm truly disturbed also how people have fallen for the class warfare mantra. It's very sad and does not say much for some people in this country where opportunity abounds for people to make it on their own if they want.

Did you see that Biden was questioned by a reporter on a news station and they were hard ball questions. Now the Obama campaign says that station will no longer be allowed to interview them.

The journalist quoted Marx and asked if this is what Obama proposes. Biden lauged. Then she asked about his statement that something would test Obama in the first 6 mos of his presidency.

The Obama campaign objected to these questions saying that Americans are not interested in these things and the reporter was inappropriate.
This I believe is a harbinger of what is to come once Obama is president. Anyone asking hard ball questions will be frozen out or maybe worse. Perhaps they will disappear. Who knows.

The MSM is losing viewership this is true. I'm hoping we still have freedom of speech after Obama takes the office because the Fairness doctrine will most likely be passed. We don't know if we will be able to blog freely. We just don't know what will happen.

The polls are rigged I think in Obama's favor by the media that conducts them. I know of no one either who is voting for him, but obviously there are people out there who will when you see the crowds he draws.

I would never stay home and not vote no matter what the polls say but I know a lot of people will which is just another form of voter suppression being waged by the media.

I am with you about 3rd party voting. They have no way of winning. Voting that way is a cop out to me. Like you said a coward's way.

Far to many people will be voting for O because of his skin color. Completely forgetting or ignoring what Dr. Martin Luther King had said. That was "judge a man by his character and not the color of his skin."

I heard someone on the Howard Stern show interviewing 3 black people asking who they were voting for, all said O, he then asked them 3 questions about why they supported him. They were all asked if they were supporting him because of how he stood on issues. Yes, they all answered again. He substituted how McCain stands on the issues and everyone of them said thats why they are voting for O. After listening to McCain's stances. It seams they don't know how O stands on the issues.

Excellent point you make. Fwanks wants to cut the military spending, just where does he think all the weapons and other material the military uses comes from? Does he not know Americans make everything that we take into war? It's more (brains like this) we do not need in office.

He wants to cut the military just like Clinton did. This will only leave us more vulnerable to be attacked again.

So, I feel like I have been in the Twilight Zone for the past decade or whenever this reality series began. I found myself rooting for Hillary Clinton against Obama - who knew? McCain needs to ram this home every day until Nov.4 about the axis of evil, Obama/Reid/Pelosi. Yeah, I see the smug glee on the Potato Head's face and I want to wipe that smirk right off her face.

They have so many bills just ready to pass as soon as their Messiah becomes president. They are so very sure of themselves. Oh, the average family will barely have money left over to buy food once they get done taxing all of them straight into poverty. Some help for the middle class.

I hope you're right and there is some doubt and panic going on in the Obama camp. Like you said why do they need to call Californians.

I sure didn't like the things Hillary stood for, but she did say we could turn Iran into a glass factory. I liked that statement rather than Obami's sitting down with rogue dictators without precondition.

I also was aghast at the sexism in the MSM about her. Now, I really take umbrage with that no matter who the woman is and they were brutal about Hillary. There were times I actually felt sorry for her, something I never thought I would feel for her. And Obama played the race card every time she opened her mouth.

And of course, they have been even more brutal with Palin. The MSM is dead of any ethics, morality and real journalism. I NEVER watch any of them. I hope they die off into the sunset. People are really disgusted with them and their open bias.

Then MSNBC is going to have La Raza and ACORN on with them the night of the election with phone banks for anyone to call in if they are having trouble voting. Can you believe how low they have sunk?

Like God. The concepts of science and primarily evolution which permeates a great deal of scientific thought has done littel more than promulgate the original lie. "you can be as God" for if people are evolving, what is the end result of that evolution, but to become God?

In several of my posts I have skirted around this topic. Bob hits it pretty good. The core of every thing we beleive as coservatives is based on a very simple truth: the existence of good and evil.

Conservativeism allows for the greatest good to be done, because it promotes individual responsibility while recognizing man's flaws. It insists that man is prone to selfishness and therefore must reign in his baser tendancies for the benefit of society.

Liberalism at its core is opposed to this very basic concept. It beleives that man is not flawed individually, but that external forces keep man from reaching the highest of his potential. If we but remove those factors, man will strive for greatness.

Thus conservative capitalism says "if you don't work you shouldn't eat" and expects hunger to lead to industriousness.

While liberal socialism: "Says since you cannot (by choice or circumstance) work we will feed you" And expects that a full belly will allow man to consider that he too should work for others who are hungry.

They are then suprised when the man doesn't work the next day. (though it could be argued that this is there intent)

Repubs = 40% of the electorate

I think we blew this election on trying to carry a candidate for president in thinking that somehow he would be the great preserver of conservative issues.

This was the time to focus on congress, and give them enegry and support and funding. But congress has hardly even been covered by the "conservatives" in the media. The liberals had a 9% approval rating, yet "big gains" are thrown their way.

Likewise, the most important thing in this election is some of the state laws that are on the ballots in many states. Again, they have not had much media coverage.

Its all gone to this presidental election, which in my opinion, short of Sarah Palin, it is a no win situation for us.

Now if you don't listen to anything else that I am saying about voting in this election then please listen to this, Go out and vote. If McCain is your man, then go out and vote for him. If not and you can't stand McCain, then still go out and vote. You can vote third party or write in, just get out and vote. And when you are there make certain that you support and vote for good conservative congress. And most important of all in this election, especially if you live in California, vote to ban gay marriage. If you don't see how important this issue is now, you will later, only it might be too late.

As an American I bid you all to do what I know you will, go out and vote.

I think you misunderstand my positions and my views.

I never claimed that Barak Obama was not dangerous. As a matter of fact I think he is a dangerous liberal, and I tell this to pretty much everyone.

Not everyone who is against McCain is the same. Some of us are as different as it gets.

Basically what I say is that BO is a dangerous liberal, however McCain is also a dangerous liberal, if he stays true to his history.

My case is that is that I don't trust the nominee. From a primary that I think favored getting a liberal nominee.

As far as the presidency goes, we are headed left for sure. Bad or worse.

And I think it's depressing from my point of view that the very argument that should be used to get people to support conservative congress is given to McCain, while congress is thrown to the liberals.

Who knows, perhaps things will turn out a lot better.

And here is one more thing, I have never stated as absolute certain that I would never vote for McCain, but rather that I'm unlikely to vote for McCain. I have not commited myself to any third party at all. I wanted to hear a sound and good argument as to why I should support McCain and I haven't found anything. Mostly insults.

I cannot support Obama and could never vote for him as is. I have always held that position.

As far as my mentioning of a "conservative" media, I meant the talking heads and talk show hosts, and yes even fox news. Most of these have lost a bit of credit with me.

Unfortunately, I think getting cons for this election may be really difficult since all the blame for the financial meltdown is being blamed on Bush and as usual the repubs in Congress are not speaking up. From all I have read it's going to be another blood bath for the repubs.

We have stated we are not McCain's biggest fans, but bad opposed to worse right now, in our opinion, can possibly stem off, for a short time, the complete take over by BHO and his Marxist agenda.

BHO plans to tax us all for abortions and even supports infanticide. McCain has been pro life. He would never support this.

Sarah Palin stands next in line for POTUS. I know you don't agree on that one, but we think it's a good possibility. After 4 years as VP, she will have a lot of experience under her belt and she is already quite a trooper and a fighter. She could be the new face of the Conservatives.

McCain, as opposed to BHO, knows what dangers face this nation from abroad. BHO's foreign policy stance is immature and naive at best.

You don't have to vote for McCain. We don't tell people who to vote for. Your vote is your precious and private right to do as you wish.

I want to bring this point back up. You are right of course on this and we plan to vote in all the conservatives we can for Congress, but as I stated before this is highly unlikely this is going to happen.

The repubs are going to lose big time. Look at the poll numbers for the ones who are running and you will see that the dims are out running them. And all the money BHO has gathered for his election allows the dims to funnel more and more money into these dems elections.

That brings us to the super majority of libs in the Congress. A possible filibuster proof Senate. Not enough conservative repubs in the House to fight down anything, in other words a blank check. An axis of evil Obama/Reid/Pelosi. What do you think they will do?

It is never good for all 3 branches of government to have no checks and balances.

While none of our pols seem all that interested in upholding our Constitution, BHO has no respect for it whatsoever, in his own words. One wonders just what he will actually do with our Constitution.

Thomas Sowell, a brilliant man, whom I respect deeply, has done a series on Obama and the evil of him. I choose to believe in Sowell and what he says and all the information I have been able to gather about this man on my own. And, this BHO scares me as he does many other people. If that makes me a fear monger, I am in good company with Thomas Sowell.
