all this language of love and divinity..............barely hides the sea of rage and intolerance of an ego fueled ideology .
Before you elevate yourself and your readers to sainthood, ask yourself why it is so easy to dismiss those who are not in this holographic echo chamber. the us-versus-them, my-God-is-bigger-than-your-God,

Can we get over the stereotyping of left and right, liberal and conservative, in a way that ought to be compatible with God's affirmation of the humanity of us all?
Far from claiming to possess God's truth, can we claim only to be imperfect seekers of the truth. Is it not God's work to practice humility, to wear tolerance on our sleeves, to reach out to those with whom we disagree, and to overcome the meanness we see in today's politics.

The truth is SO refreshing.

You're probably right. When Arianna Huffington made her transition from Right to Left she crossed over into the losing side of history. That is a pity as she is a good woman. The Far Left is in crisis and is quaking with fear as Obama crashes and burns. Perhaps my posts of late have felt like salt poured on their deepening wounds.

PS I attempted to post on Huffington several comments on the oracular meaning of Kennedy's LEFT sided brain seizure in May of 08, and his collapse at the inaugural, but they all were censured. Soon I'll be publishing my book on Obama and the "Curse" of the Kennedys. I thought it was complete by late June, but something held me back from posting it. Now that the senator is gone I can finish it.

I was banned from HuffPo comment #1 when I wrote that capitalism is natural human behavior as it was born of the barter system, and that socialism is unnatural and must therefore be coerced by government. The actual comment was a little longer but that is the gist. I think that I'd challenged the wrong person.

Kos kept me on a little longer. My comparison of Sheehan's "open letters" with the rhetoric on David Duke's website did the trick. I take some pride, however, for the "distancing" of the media from Sheehan because of the timing in which it happened.

I don't curse too much nor am I inappropriately profane, and it appears that neither are you, so, you could have gored the wrong ox, you could have been too effective, or they just got tired of you screwing up the narrative.

I thought only the rightie echochamber sites censored opposing opiniojns and thoughts.
Oh well.

I'm pretty new to this blog phenomena. I stumbled across american Thinker while researching halthcare reform (for a paper)
I was captivated by what seemed to me, as staggering misinformation.
I have never been called so many ridiculous names. But I was beginning to understand the thoughts of a group that I didn't understand, at all.

I tried to reasonably respectful and not respond in kind.

the contributor wherein I was banned, was so hypocritical in her peculiar blend of new-age spiritualism and vapid left bashing that I felt compelled to call her on it.

My last post, in which i'm sure I used the word hypocrite never appeared.

About a year ago I got banned for a post in which I referred to his holiness as the Messiah and said he was somewhere between Stalin and Marx. Darn little commies over there at Huffington just got no sense of humor….

Thank you, guys. I am in good company. The longevity of my relationship with HuffPo and their sudden change in policy toward me tells me that there's trouble in paradise.

It sounds to me that your post may have been censored; that's not the same thing as being banned from posting. I had over 300 posts censored by HuffPo over a three year period and 1100 published before they removed my file and banned me from posting comments.

As in no writer from my IP address was allowed in.

Indeed, you know the Left are in trouble when they resort to desperate tactics, ranging from banning you, to Townhall meeting disruptions, to calling us the mob, etc. ad nauseum.

...is one of my favorite sites. Even those in dissent seem to maintain a robust level of civility. I've conversed quite a bit there, and have found a lot of...well...real American THINKERS. Statements are primarily made based on fact, while incindiery verbiage is minimal. Sometimes tears stream as I read some Thinker's edgy, biting satirical piece.

Please indulge my inability to take what 'coopmeister' says at face value. While I disagree with his banter, what he's presented here doesn't readily appear as enough for banishment by AT.

You, on the other hand-- don't feel like you have to cast your pearls before HuffPo Swine, anyway.

Thank you for your comments, Juanita. You're right: The reason Coop gave for his banishment from AT isn't credible and was probably meant to shame me. It saddened me that after so many years HuffPo killed my account. I did enjoy the give and take with their bloggers and left-wing commenters. It was somewhat of an enriching experience for me, but not for them.

The real surprise here is not the fact you were banned, but the fact you made it as long as you did.

I somewhat know how you feel...after using mail.com for years...they have locked me out of my account twice in the last month. I lead a "conservative" group, therefore send and receive many emails. They are based in CA, so I think it has more to do with content than tripping their "spam-o-meter". Bottom line..."Truth hurts"!

I guess if a writer is threatening and completely psycho...it serves no purpose.

The one'track minded, short sighted leftist dish it out but they can't take it! Look how the Obama lovers are carrying on about Joe Wilsons 'liar' outcry!
