Constitutionally-Protected Rights

Rights" does not make me feel secure these days with this administration in office. As far as I can tell, they hold God, Cristians, Conservatives and yes, the Constitution in disdain. I see your point (:- and don't disagree that the Government should be happy to give you your big gun, especially with all the big giveaway programs on their agenda........but don't hold your breath waiting for your gun. You best go out and buy it for your self and don't wait. The way this bunch of goons see it, the Constitution needs a do over and I wouldn't be surprised if the 2nd amendment is targeted for overturn. What the Government gives, the government can take away. I'm sure this bunch sees this clearly and won't hesitate to act on it.

I realize that the Obamination is going to address the 2nd Amendment sooner or later. I hope the new administration realizes that this could be a big mistake. The Revolutionary War began with British troops marching to Concord to confiscate weapons and ammo. I see no reason that a second revolution couldn't start the same way. The Bill of Rights describes God given rights, not government given rights.

There is no provision for abortion in the Consitution. There IS provision for the government NOT to tamper with the right to 'keep and bear arms.' Can't understand why this is so hard to comprehend on the left.
