00228 26-Jun S. 1639 On the Cloture Motion Agreed to Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to Consider S.1639; A bill to provide for comprehensive immigration reform and for other purposes.

I was listening to a rep. from the Heritage Foundation this morning (Robert Rector). He mentioned that it could end up voted dead in committee if a good number of members reversed there cloture vote but is unlikely. He said that if cloture is agreed to that it would more than likely become law.

He made reference that this weeks bill is pretty much identical to the first one twenty years ago.

Bad days ahead.
