there is a lot of truth in what you say. However, I don't think JM will accept this as his final public act and ride off into the sunset. I fear his fate (and ours) is to to stay in Washington as long as he can, fighting the good fight for his cause by appeasing the Ted Kennedy's of the world.

It is truly sad that a great career has been reduced to a legacy of McCain-Feingold, palling around with Democrat sleazebags, support for amnesty (tell us again, John, about the need to follow the rule of law), the Gang of Fourteen, etc., etc., etc.!
