I like that Qutbi/Qutbism label.

Get Real

Instead of lazily referencing politically correct studies that sympathize with the enemy why not do some real work and read the Koran? Every true Muslim is a jihadist according to Allah. Have some courage and go to the source.

I can understand why...

...this is being taught to our officers. They're being flung into this very complicated mess and told to deal with it. The way things are, they need this info. However, there's no substitute for strong deterents like nukes being aimed at Mecca and other Islamic Holy sites (and oil fields). Then very humbly and sincerely explaining to the Saudi Royal Fam, Salafi clergy/leaders (and the rest of the world) that "hey it pains us to have to do this but if we get another attack on U.S. soil (or close) by your folks we're going to have to turn Mecca and other spots into melted glass".
Great info Ben. Thanks for digging this up and bringing it out in the open. DD

Not Convinced. . .

"I disagree. I think they are taught, and teach, this because it is important to know your real enemy and not a figurative all inclusive enemy. Not all Muslims are against us and certainly not all of them are willing to take up arms even if they have religious or ideological differences. That is what this report is about; defining the enemy and how to defeat them."

...however, you don't know how much I hope (wish) you are right and I am wrong. Its those peace loving Muslims that, when they heard the news of 9/11/, secretly (or not so) rejoiced in their heart. These are our enemy, too. Many who live in the U.S. and have benefited greatly from it. But in their heart of hearts they hate us. I'm sure there are many who just want to be left alone and live in freedom, too. Its not an easy situation but one that we must deal with more decisively. I'm sure you and I have different beliefs on how that should be done. But just ignoring it and hoping it'll go away is the wrong thing to do.
Thankyou for visiting my blog. DD

Have you read the Koran?

Even though I have a son in the Army and tons of respect for military officers I have no reason to defend West Point when they're wrong. I'm not condemning West Point though. Speaking in generalities is a trick used to obscure the truth. (Such as labeling as a Neocon anyone who disagrees with you.) I'm just condemning the study, as you relayed it.

Likewise I'm not condemning all Muslims. Many of them don't understand their own religion, being taught to recite the Koran in Arabic and not understanding Arabic. And there are others who are just going through the motions without thought, similar to people who call themselves Christians and hate their brothers.

Islam is not a religion of peace, despite what someone at West Point says and despite what the President says. It is a religion bent on world domination with violence to be used as the means to that end. See suras 9:111, 4:76, 9:73, 9:123, and 47:4 for some examples. There are many more if you only have the courage to read it and face this enemy. And the enmity was created by them because of our refusal to believe in the cause of Allah.

Tolerance is the politically correct policy, but political correctness is a flawed policy. It just obscures truth. Politically correct tolerance can land you in the trap of Islam:

"Let not the believers take for friends or helpers unbelievers rather than believers. If any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah; except by way of precaution, that ye may guard yourselves from them" Koran 3:28

So while they are outnumbered in this country the Koran teaches that it is okay to pretend friendship, until they are in a more secure situation.
