SO:
Electric can openers;
Examine your blade with care.
You are looking for a tiny "U" shaped groove.
Can openers are sharpened FLAT like an ice skate.
The bevel you see is to avoid cutting out a strip of metal like ducting shears do.
Use the edge of the stone to grind FLAT across the cutting edge of the can opener until you have removed all or most of the "U" shaped groove.
Opener will then work as well as or even better than new.

See what you get when you leave me nothing to blatherskat about?
