Hey Emmett, tried to get on, sorry too late, I wanted to bring up a movie as its not only a oldie, you may not have seen but I had a question for you. The movie is The Cardinal starring Tom Tryon, highlighted in the Sunday night serials Disney did on NBC, also wrote The Other, and I cannot track him beyond that. The scene in the Cardinal is when he is sent from Rome to talk to the Monsignor of Austra who acting pretty independently from Rome made an agreement with Das Fuhrer sorry no umlaut on my computer, and did a bunch of stuff that made Rome unhappy, he was sent to talk to the Monsignor, at that point when Austria voted for Hitler, the mob of brown shirts turned loose on the huge church and tearing things apart, Tom Tryon had to get out via a basement hideway that had been built into the church, huge mob, lady as Catholics starts singing and it is a very moving moment to me, Between this movie, Judgement at Neurenberg and Inside the Third Reich, Hitlers Architect, cant' remember the name of the lead actor, also did the movie with Michelle Pfeiffer where the wolf and bird never meet, best descriptio i can give, you can develop a pretty quick history of the Church and Hitler, there is a question I wanted to ask, in the Cardinal, he is the first one to be named so in America, and he states in his "acceptance"speech in Rome, that this is very significant also as the first Bishop named in America is the nephew, or uncle, a relative anyway of a signer of the Declaration of Independence. If you care to reply, do you have any idea which of the group he may be speakign about, I have tried researching and gotten no where. Sorry did not get a chance to talk to you, name, Karen, city Mpls, email kricketkat2@msn.com love your show and love the whole group, tonight Tarzana Joe just blew me away, what a talent. and he makes it seem so easy. Until next week, thanks Karen from Mpls.
