Vote the bums out!

Heh heh...nice thought but....

Vote the bums out is a nice thought but the problem is that only elites have the money to get elected in DC generally speaking, that is.
And ALL the elites in the US are Globalists and
Internationalists who have a huge economic stake in Global Markets being sustained...well enough of them are-- so that to replace 100 US Senators
and 535 or so Reps with "us regular folkes" would be utterly impossible.
You'd only change one set of bums for another set of bums.
Better to vote in such a way that keeps the elites at each other's throats perpetually...you know...they call it balance of power.
Anyway, I am in full sympathy with your goals
for better government in America.
Best Wishes,
Hectormon

My point exactly!

Your mindset is exactly why we have the government we have. The Senate can only be replaced 1/3rd at a time every 2 years. The house can be replaced as they come up for election. The President is the acknowledged leader for his political party. If we send a maverick to the White house and replace all those currently running for re-election.Those remaining would get the message,if they fail to turn things around we have another revolution in 2 years.
This is not rocket science it is a republican (not to be confuse with the political party by the same name) method of government.
Your mind set will get us the same ole thing we compalin about now!

I agree completely!

I am all for voting the bums out of office, and I actually wrote a very similar blog recently at uhokaythen.blogspot.com. The problem is, we need to unite, and we need term limits on this jokers, or voting them out of office and replacing them will be for nothing. POTUS already has a term limit, and it's time we put term limits on all federal government, especially the House and Senate.

Voting

Why are you brainwashed people advocating voting? When you vote you force others to do or not do what you want. Why is that good? Just because you want to vote to bring freedom to this country, why are you right and your opponents wrong? You can't prove your case and they theirs. Therefore neither of you should be trying to force your views on others. Please let me know where I'm wrong on my website, "themoralityofvoting.com."

Not Voting!! What are you thinking?

I did not look at you site. But I argue that there is no moral reason to abstain from voting. If you refuse to participate , you are only a spectator along for the ride, no better than luggage. Freedom is not for spectators to obtain it is strictly a reward to those who participate. I voted Libertarian on all candidates available and against the incumbent anywhere else I could. Do I expect to see Bob Barr as President, no, do I wish to strengthen their cause and add numbers to their voice yes.
Will I personally make a difference, no, but when 50 million of us choose to voice our opinions then we will make difference. But you my friend will only be a non participant in the process, you will not have the legitimate right to gripe about the outcome either. So my advice is get off your backside and be a particpant! America was not created and will not survive on the backs of spectator class citizens, if that is what we become then we will be something less than our potentialas a country. How sad that you could believe otherwise!
